We welcome your interest and invite your questions. To apply for a position with Catalyst, we invite you to submit your materials through Wizehire (click the “Apply Now” button at the end of the job post).  Positions open until filled but, please, let us call you.

Our Culture

Our office is collaborative. We focus on client service and value colleagues willing to take on complex (and sometimes not glamorous) problems as part of a team. Above all, we value excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to use technology efficiently. Team members hail from other counties and time zones, so most internal meetings are virtual, either in-full or in-part. Our team-based approach needs good communicators who can be effective in person, on the phone, and in writing, with a wide variety of people.

Social enterprise is part of our culture. A willingness to innovate in the delivery of legal services is essential. Catalyst Law maintains close ties with our non-profit affiliate, The Commons Law Center, a legal services firm founded by Catalyst members in 2016.

Our Compensation

We offer competitive compensation for all positions, benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with ESG investment opportunities, generous paid holidays, paid time off, paid sick leave, and a flexible work environment.

Our Locations

Portland – The Portland office is located in Pearl District, with parking for clients, access to the Willamette Waterfront and Park Blocks, onsite showers and lockers for cyclists, frequent light rail, bus, and streetcar service, and close to restaurants and shopping.

King City/Tigard – Our office in the King City retirement community is conveniently located on 99W, between Durham and Fischer Roads, with easy access to the communities of Tigard, Sherwood, Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, Tualatin, and Beaverton.

Equal Opportunity for All

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Catalyst is committed to meeting the spirit as well as the letter of the law. We have been, and continue to be, committed to Equal Opportunity Employment and equal treatment of all qualified individuals — regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, disability, or any other factors that are not job related.

Our policy is to remove barriers to employment opportunities and to ensure that access to jobs is based strictly on an individual’s competencies. This policy applies to every aspect of employment at Catalyst, including recruitment, hiring, training, advancement, and termination. We are certain that this philosophy, and our acting upon it, will help advance our Firm goals, as well as meet our responsibilities to employees, clients, members, and the communities in which we live and work.
